VINTAGE U.S.N. NAVY FORK AND SPOON SET – NO.1

I found this set in Vietnam while walking through local markets during one of my trips.

I often go to places like this when I travel for metal detecting. You never really know what you will come across.

The Vietnam War is not that far in the past. In some areas, objects connected to it still appear in everyday life.

This was one of those moments. A small box, a mix of cutlery, and then this piece.

It is authentic. It was not made for tourists and it is not a copy.

When I travel, I sometimes buy a few items directly from local people. Some I keep, some I offer further.
