VINTAGE U.S. BEER BOTTLE – Post WWII Europe Period - CLEAR GLASS

I found this bottle in Northern Italy, in an old waste pit left behind by the U.S. Army after World War II.

After the war, American forces remained in parts of Europe to help maintain stability and order. Places like this were part of that presence.

This is a clear glass beer bottle marked "Not To Be Refilled".

The base markings are no longer readable, but the bottle itself is intact and in very good condition.

Most bottles from sites like this are broken or heavily worn. Finding one like this, complete and undamaged, is not very common.

The marking "Not To Be Refilled" indicates it was produced as a single-use bottle, which became more typical in the mid-20th century.
