COCA-COLA BOTTLE 1943 – CLEAR GLASS – WWII Era Italy

I found this bottle in Northern Italy, in an old waste pit left behind by the U.S. Army after World War II.

After the war, American forces remained in parts of Europe to help stabilize the region. Sites like this still hold objects connected to that time.

This is a clear glass Coca-Cola bottle dated 1943.

It carries the marking "Trademark Registered" and "Min Contents 6 FL OZS".

Bottles like this were part of everyday life for American soldiers. Coca-Cola was widely distributed to troops during the war and became one of the most recognizable symbols of that period.

Finding one in this condition, directly from the ground, gives it a different feeling than buying it from a collection.
